HOLLY HAWKER HAIR – TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions form the agreement between the Client (“You”) and Holly Hawker Hair (“The Stylist”). By securing your booking, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking Fee & Payments

• A non-refundable booking fee of 25% is required to secure your wedding date. This booking fee covers administration, correspondence, planning time and reserves your wedding date exclusively.
• Your booking is not confirmed until the booking fee has been received.
• The booking fee will be deducted from your final balance.
• The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 6 weeks prior to your wedding date.
• No amendments to your booking, including timings, locations, bridal party numbers or services, can be made within 6 weeks of the wedding date.
• Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking and the booking fee will be retained.
• Payment is accepted via bank transfer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Any additional services agreed before the 6-week deadline will be added to your final invoice.

2. Bridal Preview Appointment

• Your bridal preview appointment is included within your booking fee.
• Should you decide to cancel your wedding booking after your bridal preview has taken place, a £100 bridal preview fee will become payable in addition to the non-refundable booking fee. This covers the time, products and styling provided during your preview appointment.
• Additional preview appointments requested after your initial preview will incur an additional charge.
• Hairstyles created during your preview are intended as a guide and may vary slightly on the wedding day due to weather conditions, hair condition or other external factors beyond the Stylist’s control.

3. Cancellations by the Client

• All cancellations must be made in writing.
• The 25% booking fee is non-refundable.
• Cancellations made more than 6 weeks before the wedding date will result in the booking fee being retained.
• Cancellations made within 6 weeks of the wedding date require 100% of the remaining balance to be paid.
• Should your wedding be postponed, every effort will be made to transfer your booking fee to your new wedding date, subject to availability.

4. Cancellation by Holly Hawker Hair

• In the unlikely event Holly Hawker Hair is unable to attend due to illness, injury or unforeseen circumstances, every effort will be made to arrange an experienced replacement stylist.
• This may be a trusted member of the House of Hawker team or another professional bridal hairstylist.
• Should your booking be transferred, all remaining services will be carried out under the replacement stylist’s own Terms & Conditions.
• If no suitable replacement can be found, all monies paid, including the booking fee, will be refunded.

5. Travel

• Travel is charged at £1.00 per mile (one way only) from Holly Hawker Hair Studio, BS15 4AW, to your wedding venue.
• Parking charges, tolls, congestion charges and accommodation (where required) are payable by the Client.
• No early morning fee or additional venue change fee applies when a Bridal Package has been booked.
• Holly Hawker Hair cannot be held responsible for delays caused by traffic, road closures or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

6. Photography, Video & Social Media

• Holly Hawker Hair may photograph or film hairstyles during your bridal preview and wedding day for use on social media, website, portfolio, educational content and future marketing.
• Professional photographs and videos supplied by your photographer or videographer may also be used for marketing purposes unless otherwise requested in writing before your wedding day.
• By booking Holly Hawker Hair, you grant permission for your hairstyle images and videos to be used across marketing platforms.
• Copyright of professional photographs remains with the photographer.
• Holly Hawker Hair will credit photographers, videographers and other suppliers wherever reasonably possible.
• No compensation will be payable for the use of images or videos.
• Should you wish your images not to be shared, this must be confirmed in writing before your wedding day.

7. Responsibility & Liability

• Holly Hawker Hair uses only professional salon-quality products and maintains the highest hygiene standards.
• Clients must disclose any allergies, medical conditions or sensitivities before the wedding day.
• Holly Hawker Hair accepts no responsibility for reactions caused by undisclosed medical information.
• Once the hairstyle has been completed and approved by the Client, Holly Hawker Hair cannot be held responsible for changes caused by weather, humidity, wind, dancing, excessive touching, hugs, headwear, accidental pulling or alterations made by the Client or third parties.
• Only Clients booked for hairstyling services may use Holly Hawker Hair products, brushes or equipment.
• Holly Hawker Hair reserves the right to refuse use of products or equipment by anyone not included within the booking.
• Holly Hawker Hair reserves the right to immediately stop providing services should any Client or guest display abusive, threatening, aggressive or inappropriate behaviour. In these circumstances no refund will be issued.
• Holly Hawker Hair cannot be held responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings.

8. Wedding Morning Schedule

• All members of the bridal party receiving hairstyling services must be available at the agreed time.
• Delays may result in reduced styling time or services being altered.
• No refunds will be issued where delays are caused by the Client or bridal party.
• Holly Hawker Hair reserves the right to amend timings where necessary to ensure the wedding schedule runs smoothly.

9. Force Majeure

• Holly Hawker Hair shall not be liable for any failure or delay in providing services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemics, epidemics, government restrictions, natural disasters, severe weather, transport disruption, terrorism, civil unrest or any other unforeseen event.
• Where possible, bookings will be transferred to a mutually agreed alternative date, subject to availability.
• If rescheduling is not possible, any refund or transfer of monies paid will be considered at the sole discretion of Holly Hawker Hair, taking into account costs already incurred.

10. Clients Under 18

• Clients under the age of 18 must have consent from a parent or legal guardian.
• A parent or guardian may be required to remain present during appointments.
• The parent or guardian accepts responsibility for payment and adherence to these Terms & Conditions.

11. Health & Safety

• Clients must inform Holly Hawker Hair if they or any member of the bridal party are suffering from a contagious illness before the wedding day.
• Holly Hawker Hair reserves the right to refuse services where there is a significant health risk.
• Refunds or rescheduling will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

12. Refund Policy

• Booking fees are strictly non-refundable unless Holly Hawker Hair cancels the booking and no suitable replacement stylist can be provided.
• No refunds will be given once hairstyling services have been completed.
• Additional services completed on the wedding day are non-refundable.

13. Governing Law

• These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
• Any disputes will first be addressed through mutual discussion before legal proceedings are considered.

14. General

• All bookings are subject to availability.
• Prices confirmed at the time of booking are guaranteed once the booking fee has been paid.
• Holly Hawker Hair reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
• These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Holly Hawker Hair and the Client.
